Spiritual:
We had a good lesson with two of our new investigators, Kim and Alex. We taught
the Restoration using the pamphlet exclusively and we introduced the discussion
by asking them to look for the feelings the spirit brings (peace, comfort,
happiness, etc...) while we were teaching. At the end of reading the pamphlet,
Alex told us that she had good feelings as we were talking and that she could
understand more why feelings testify of truth. That made a lot of sense to her
and it was amazing to see her connect the dots between good feelings and the
truth.
Funny:
Sunday, my last day in Arkadelphia, we had lunch with Brother and Sister Jones.
This is the couple that raises wolf-dogs. I decided to get closer to the
wolf-dogs and one was jumping up and down and trying to lick my face. I was
trying to be brave so I was trying to make a new friend. Then, the wolf-dog
grabbed my nametag and ran! It started to eat my name tag! Luckily, we got
it back before it got too damaged, but it was so exciting. I will be purchasing
a new name tag. 🐺 + 🐶 = 😮
Where
I'm at: I have moved to Millington, Tennessee and it's going to be fun. My new
companion is named Sister Wheeler and I am excited to work with her. It was
weird moving from my first area, but i know that transfer moves are inspired.
Also, I have passed my 6-month mark and am onto a new adventure! I'm so excited
for the future!
Thanks
for helping #LightTheWorld!
Emma's first moments in her new area were spent at Chick-fil-a. We suspect she is in love already.
