Adjusting to Mission "Lice"

Spiritual: We got to go to a baptism for some kids the Elders taught. It was so cute! The girls that got baptized were so happy and their parents were beaming. The mom gave the talk on baptism and said "your dad and I are proud of you, but your Heavenly Father is even more proud!" And then on Sunday they got confirmed and the first thing they wanted to do was go and hug their mom and dad. Their whole family is complete now!

Funny: We heard the best story from a lady we visited this week. She got flowers for Mother’s Day from her son in Hawaii, they were lovely, but the package they came in also had a stowaway! A black lizard with blue dots had been sent as well! She doesn't want it in her house so she ended up sitting in front of a table it had crawled under with 409 Carpet cleaner in one hand and a cake knife in the other! After a long game of hide and go seek she finally got the lizard and did him in. Afterwards she found out that it was a poisonous lizard. It was so funny hearing her tell it. I have learned a greater appreciation for old ladies since i started my mission!

Where I'm at: Somewhere or other, Sister Woolley picked up some lice so we spent some time fighting that this week. It was good bonding time! We also are super excited to have a return Senior couple come back home to our area! They are going to come teaching with us and seem amazing. My birthday was awesome too, the Lord is so good!
