I saw the light...through eclipse glasses for safety :)

This week was full of ups and downs, but in the end we were able to have a great baptism and were able to clean out our area book really well. Things were a little crazy, but today has been really cool because we were able to go see the Solar Eclipse at the local University. It was so amazing and my little engineering heart was so happy. Those people talked my language.

Spiritual: Sara and Michael got baptized this last Saturday and it was so cute! So after the baptism, we asked Sara how she felt and she said that she felt calm and was at peace which was really amazing because before the baptism she had been really nervous and worried. I know that her heart was truly being prepared for this and that she is going to love being a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

Funny: We go around looking for service projects so the other day we were talking to a branch member about family history and how one side of family history is recording stories for your children. She told us that she really wants to scrapbook her kids events and their growing up so that they have them when she is gone. We went yesterday to help her for the first time and it was the most fun service i have done so far because this lady is really nice, but also 100% blind so we basically are just describing pictures to her and she tells us stories about them. We accomplished 6 pages in 2 hours and it was so fun.

Where i'm at: We are now working with our recent converts and we still have a lot of progressing investigators. The Arkadelphia branch is really stepping in to help and we are excited to see if having college kids in town will increase the people we can teach.
