We have 7 progressing investigators! Life is so good! In
fact, 3 have baptismal dates for this Saturday! I love that family. They are so
great. Pictures to come!
Funny: We were helping Sister Ford break her tea habit and
acted as "witnesses" to her pouring the stuff down the drain. After
spending 30 minutes getting a drink of water we sat down to read Alma 22. In
one verse, it talks about giving up a "kingdom" to be converted and
Sister Ford, dear Sister Ford made up a song, on the spot, about "material
things" including "my couch so i won't be a louch" and the
"radio since it don't have no showio" and it was so funny. Apparently
that song just came to her because she dumped all her tea. #everybodywasblessed
Spiritual: We found an apartment complex that we had never
seen before and we had such a great experience! We set 4 return appointments,
gave away 2 copies of the Book of Mormon and met a lot of genuine kind
people. It was such a great experience.
Where I'm at: I'm doing so good here and Arkadelphia is
doing very well. There isn't much to do on P-Days, but we have am awesome
branch here. Also college is starting soon so that should bring lots of more
people.
Good times!
Sister Black
