Tractin' in a Winter Wonderland

Funny: It snowed! Like actually snowed and stuck! Wow! So, on the first day that it snowed, we tried to build a snowman, but it just turned out really tiny and so we moved on. The studies that morning were super hard to focus on because we just kept looking out the window to make sure it was still actually snowing out there :) Then, the day after that, it snowed again! This time we made 2 snowman missionaries and they are super cute and then we went sliding around on the ice in boots. It was fun to be able to hear people talk about the snow and also hear all of them complain about "Memphis drivers".

Spiritual: We had been teaching Sarah and preparing her for her baptism and that happened this Saturday! It was a fantastic turnout even though the ground was still icy and snowy. She is so prepared for this and she is an awesome example to her little brothers. Her parents used her baptism as a way to reach out to people they worked with and family from all over and so she was so loved. We got to meet a bunch of cool people.

Where I'm at: Sister Wheeler and I are staying in Millington together and it's going to be AWESOME! We are still not sick and there are so many people that helped us this past week. We also are blessed to be able to have our car available to us this week so we are going to be back on our way again. Church yesterday was a special broadcast with Sister Mariott, Elder Soares, Bishop Davies, and Elder Bednar. Wow. That was a fantastic meeting. The work here is going splendidly and we are already starting to see miracles!

Much love,
Sister Black
