A Busy Week

Spiritual: There is a cute member here named Rachyll who is a convert to the church and she wants to go on a mission so much! We try to take her to teaching appointments we have, but when our appointment fell through we decided to do a mission preparation study with her. We did reading and preparing half of the time and the other half of the time was spent doing a role play. Sister Woolley and Rachyll were companions and i pretended to be Charles. It was really impressive to see how passionate Rachyll is and what a bold missionary she is going to be. Her enthusiasm overcomes any beginner teaching skills she has.

Funny: All those old church programs that transformed into boats and paper balloons are bringing good things now! We got invited to help with the kid's craft at the May Festival in Covington. We made newspaper hats and I also had a short stint as a face painter. We got to talk to a whole bunch of kids and parents and it was so funny to see how their hats turned out. They usually got made into a bunch of glued pom-poms or a face with googly eyes. I will attach a picture of me posing with one of the statues there. A cute kid there decorated my hat for me.

Where I’m at: This week we had our last musical tribute and it was a very lovely event. We saw a lot of miracles happen as we tried our hardest to invite people and surrounded ourselves with sacred music. I'm excited for Mother’s Day too! Oh my goodness! I almost forgot! We also were able to invite Dwayne, Kiera, and Isabell to be baptized so they will be the newest members by the end of May! Yes! Very excited :)

Love ya!
