It Must Be Fate

Spiritual: This week I've been finding spiritual things popping up in small ways. One day we had to find a last-minute ride and were trying everything we could to just work it out. Finally, we were basically out of time and so we decided that we would be willing to sacrifice the miles to make sure we got to our meeting and that we would just walk more another day. At that moment, we got a text back from a member who was able to give us a ride and save the day. It was a very cool experience to see that when we actually put our trust in the Lord, it works out. 

Funny: We went to try one of our potential investigators, but they weren't home. So, we tried another house nearby. Lo and behold, we met a guy who had talked to the Elder's just the last week! We told him it was fate and that it meant he really must need to listen to us. We aren't sure he believed us, but it was a funny conversation. Maybe we'll see him again somewhere else! 

Where I’m at: It was so much fun to be able to Skype with my family yesterday! I will talk to Jonah at his next Skype call :) I am excited for the kids we are working with this week! We are hoping that they can move their baptismal date to June so their family will be there, and that they will be able to understand the importance of coming to church, but it is sure hard to be reverent if that's not what you're used to! So if you have any ideas on how to teach reverence, let us know! Also, Transfer news comes this week so I will let you know what is going on then! 

 Our Birthday present for our investigators was the Restoration DVD and a bunch of candy for a movie party for them. Our choice on the movie.
