An Awesome Week

I have lost Sister Decker! She is going back to California and is excited to be with her family. I will now get to be with Hermana Quigley! I'm really excited to get to know her and and to learn from her. She came here in February and has been serving in Little Rock since she got here. We got our transfer information last Saturday at 8:30 and it was such a fun experience. Right after we saw the email and she and her companion called us and I got to talk to her! She has never taught in English, but is used to branches. I am so thrilled! Last Saturday our mission president had Sister Decker come do a departing interview at the church and he totally almost told me who my new companion was going to be but then he decided not to at the last minute!

Spiritual: I gave a talk on Sunday and I was really nervous because I didn't really feel like I could prepare, but I wanted to give a good talk. I had a good outline on paper, but I was still worried. When I got to the pulpit i was so blessed because I was able to talk with the spirit and I was able to teach about the Gospel of Jesus Christ. I used doctrine and bore testimony and I was so happy! So many blessings! Also this last week was so solid! We had 5 investigators at church, 3 with dates, and 6 new investigators. Also, we asked 4 4 people to meet with us in return appointments. We keep working! Friends Sunday was a great success

Funny: As we were biking in the other night we rode past a group of guys that were probably college aged. The funniest thing happened, this one but started singing the witch theme from The Wizard of Oz. I cracked up. Biking really brings out the funniest stories.

Where I am at: I am still in Arkadelphia and I am really glad. We get to introduce Hermana Quigley to everybody and have some good plans in place. My first transfer is through and it is so interesting. This week has  been awesome, but I'm sure the future will be better and better!

Sister Black

The blanket in the picture is from a lady named Sister J. She gets a blanket for every Sister who comes into the area and she got one for me! It's super cool! Mine is yellow, black, and gray.
