Where I'm at :This week was so good! Hermana Quigley is
slowly getting used to our small Arkadelphia area and is been really cool to
see how the techniques that she learned serving in Little Rock can be applied
here. Since I've been in the area the longest I get to drive the fairly new and
fairly scary mission car, but I continually use my GPS so that is really
helping.
Funny: So picture this- it's Tuesday night and Hermana
Quigley and I are trying to sync our area books at the church wifi so that we
can both plan and all of that. I get the notice that a transfer was detected so
the area book first resets and then restores all the saved data, but
unfortunately it encountered the most satanic technological fail I've seen so
far. It reset my area book, but it did not restore the saved data. We literally
had no plans, no events, no investigators and no goals. It was a very serious
hazard and we couldn't call the mission office because nobody was going to be
there until the next morning at sometime between 8 and 9. Well. We said many
prayers and the next day we were able to go call for help and get at least our
investigators and members back. It still looks like we visited nobody ever and
just slept in our apartment for all days before this Tuesday. We are still working
on completely fixing that but it is already so much better than before.
Spiritual: The missionaries teach the Gospel Principles
class and one of our investigators came. We taught about the Priesthood and she
liked the "Sanctify Yourself" video so much that she showed it to her
deacon-age son when she got home and now he is already preparing himself to
receive and be responsible for the Priesthood. The gospel really is for
families!
Have a stupendous week!
