The Word of Wisdom...

Funny: This week we taught about the Word of Wisdom and helped our cute recently baptized family make a video about how they have seen keeping the Word of Wisdom bless them. It was also a really really funny video because we asked Michael to show us how many push-ups he could do for the video and he could successfully do two, and then collapsed. Being in elementary school is hard.

Spiritual: We taught Cameron (Maria's son) who is like a teenager. It was a crazy lesson. He had some really deep questions and some really unexpected past life experienced, but the whole time he was really involved and kept asking questions. We were able to teach him about eternal marriage and he told his girlfriend (who was listening in via phone) that he wanted to marry her in the temple! It was so cool! He's on the right track. I was most impressed by the fact that he had prepared himself before the lesson by reading the pamphlet so he had really been able to feel the spirit when we bore our testimonies of its truth. 

Where I’m at: The weather is getting colder here in Arkadelphia, but everybody is looking forward to the holidays. We get to message a lot at nights and are getting fed a lot here now. I'm so grateful to know these awesome people and I think this branch, this corner of the world is growing on me.
