Celebrating the major holiday in July... Pioneer Day!

Funny: We have been teaching John for two weeks now and we invited him to come to the Branch event that was on Saturday. It was a Pioneer Day Picnic! It was a warm day, but with plenty of trees and a big fan we stayed pretty cool. John ended up coming! He had on his cowboy hat and he had a big grin on his face. It was wonderful to just be able to listen to his stories and hear his thoughts on what we had taught him so far. His accent is awesome :)

Spiritual: My biggest takeaways from Zone Conference this week were about the importance of finding people and why we really need to know the Bible. When we talk to everyone and find common ground with them it allows us to build on what they already know and see our similar beliefs instead of the differences that they have heard about. I am super excited to keep finding people who are ready for the blessings of the gospel!

Where I'm at: Sister Taylor and I are very happy here in Paragould! The mosquitoes are eating us alive, but we are keeping going. I think Sister Taylor's last count was that she had 25 bites. Yikes! Things are going good here though, once we find bug spray that works!
