Spiritual: Zoey is in 9th grade, but is a very spiritual
individual. She told us that she knows that God loves her because he answered
her prayer when she was really feeling down. We actually met her when she
ordered a Bible from Mormon.org and now we get to start teaching her!
Funny: There is a lady that we've been teaching named
Lora and we planned to go teach her this week with a member. We felt like they
would get along really well because they have similar religious backgrounds. We
bring this member with us and lo and behold they already know each other! In
fact, they were related through their kids and grandkids. Cool! Here we are
thinking that we're going to introduce two great people to each other and they
already know each other.
Where I'm at: We are about halfway through the second
transfer of Paragould life and we are starting to see the people that we work
with either totally commit or start to avoid us and it really is a testimony to
me of the Book of Mormon being the "great sifter". If you read the
Book and love it then you will love the doctrine or Gospel of Jesus Christ. We
are awful at taking pictures and all that, but this is really a great place to
be. The subject line comes from a girl we met who really embraced and almost
embodied the Bible, but who we are going to teach about the Book of Mormon
tonight so she's pretty cool! All is well, all is well!
